3- Using the key, Start the vehicle and hold the key in the Start position and take the voltage readings of the passlock wire with the vehicle door open and write the value down. This is the "Passlock Value". Release the key from the start position and write down the value when key is at the ignition position. This is the "Passlock Reference Value".
4- Repeat the same readings with the vehicle door closed. During Start (Passlock Value)and during ignition ON (passlock Reference Value)
(They will be different values)

9- Use the Passlock Writer software tool to adjust to the best centered value. Make an average of the open door and closed door values you have written down. So make an average value for the "Passlock Value" and another average value for the "Passlock Reference Value". NOTE: (Must write 3 digits after the dot (x.xxx) for each value entries)
10- Click "Write" button in the passlock writer software tool.
